Apply for a Board position
CSME Members in good standing may apply or nominate a colleague for Board of Directors' positions/roles at any time. However, to be considered in time for yearly elections at the AGM, applications and nominations must be received by a specific deadline.

All candidates for Board positions must meet the following criteria to be considered for nomination.

Application process
The CSME promotes the integration of equity, diversity and inclusion-related considerations in its nominating and committee appointment practices, and therefore encourages applications and nominations of members that reflect the broad diversity of the ME community.
Follow these steps to submit your application or nominate someone for a CSME Board position.
Complete your application or nomination
Complete the online application form below OR download and complete the Word form (.docx).
Provide supporting documents
Include the candidate's CV/resume and a statement of interest (max 500 words) explaining their vision for the CSME.
Submit your application
Once all required documents are ready, submit your package using Options 1 or 2 below.
Nominations Committee review
The Nominations Committee reviews all applications and prepares the slate for election.
Election at AGM
Elections are held during the Annual General Meeting at the CSME Congress.
