CSME is a member-driven organization. We welcome active members who wish to contribute their expertise to the governance and technical advancement of mechanical engineering in Canada.

Eligibility (summary)

1
Must be a Professional Member of CSME in good standing
2
Minimum of 2 years continuous CSME membership
3
Demonstrated commitment to mechanical engineering advancement in Canada
4
Ability to attend semi-annual Board meetings (virtual or in-person)
5
Attendance at the Annual General Meeting during CSME Congress
6
Willingness to contribute 5–10 hours per month to CSME activities
7
No conflicts of interest with competing organizations

Honorary Treasurer, Vice-President Technical Programs, committee chairs (History, Student Affairs, Student Paper Competition), and several technical-committee chair roles—see the Career Network page for the full vacancy list.
